Course requisites:

Individuals must hold the IHCD technician qualification and must also have completed statutory mandatory training before undertaking this course.

This 15 day course was designed for individuals holding the IHCD Technician from any provider to upskill to the Level 4 Associate Ambulance Practitioner. There is an expectation that prospective students will be competent in their skills from the Technician course they have completed.

HART EMS provides a practical aspect to this course delivered by experienced and competent medical practitioners. We will develop a variety of medical/trauma scenarios that one may encounter while working in a pre-hospital environment to equip the learner with relevant and effective experience to deal with situations requiring emergency treatment and/or management.

The duration of the course is 4 weeks with a clinical placement to also be completed. This will be a paid clinical placement. There will also be a PAD document to be completed while on clinical placement.
