Emergency First Responder (EFR)

Course Duration: 5 Days

Full Time: Monday to Friday 0930 - 1700

Part time: over 2 weekends Friday 1800 – 2200, Saturday 0900-1700, Sunday 0900-1700 (in Class)

Course Price: €500 per Student

Course Capacity: 8 Student Maximum

Course location : Dublin (Can be organised onsite if required group booking.)

An Emergency First Responder (EFR) is an individual trained in Cardiac First Response, possessing additional expertise and skills in evaluating and addressing patients in a pre-hospital and public setting. EFRs could be integrated into emergency medical services, healthcare practitioners, or individuals from the general public who have undergone an accredited EFR training program.

Prerequisites

·       The recommended minimum age for entry is eighteen.

·       Certification in CFR (CFR Advanced or CFR Community) or Certification in First Aid Response (FAR) within the last 12 months.

·       Bleeding, Shock and soft tissue injuries

·       Musculoskeletal, head and spinal injuries

·       Paediatrics

·       Childbirth

·       The well-being of the EFR

·       Medico-legal issues concerning the EFR

Certification will be through our affiliated Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) approved training institute.
