About the Course:

During the course, students will learn both Phlebotomy and Cannulation skills. These two clinical skills are the most commonly performed invasive procedures in hospital and in the pre-hospital settings for either testing of blood samples or the delivery of life saving medications.

Skills are both demonstrated and assessed during the classroom sessions. This will certify successful students in the practical understanding of venepuncture and IV.   

This is based on the current standards and requirements when applying for jobs in Phlebotomy within the HSE and NHS.
