FREUC 5 to L4AAP Bridging Course
Course requisites:
Prospective students must have completed FREUC 3/4 & the former FREUC 5 and statutory mandatory training in order to participate in this course.
This course is to bring the previous standard of FREUC 5 to the L4 Associate Ambulance Practitioner level. There is an expectation that prospective students will be competent in their skills from the former First Response Emergency & Urgent Care Level 5 course.
HART EMS provides a practical aspect to this course delivered by the most experienced and competent medical practitioners by developing a realistic environment for a variety of medical/trauma scenarios that one may encounter while working in a pre-hospital environment to supply the learner with relevant and effective experience when dealing with situations requiring emergency treatment and/or management.
The duration of the course is 3 weeks with a clinical placement to also be completed. This will be a paid clinical placement.
