All classes on Saturdays and Sundays are held in our classroom from 09:00 to 17:00

Please bring a stethoscope and a laptop or tablet with you to class.

Students must submit their deposit before the starting date of the course.

About the Course

EMT to AAP Upskilling

Hart EMS is delighted to be the first Recognised Institute in

Ireland to provide a regulated and certified upskill for PHECC Emergency Medical

Technicians to Associate Ambulance Practitioner. This course was designed specifically for

Hart EMS, to provide the necessary skills and knowledge to our students and enable them to

operate as a lead clinician on a front line ambulance.

Course Duration:

20 days – 160 hours of contact teaching

750 Clinical placement hours

Total Qualification Time: 910hrs

To complete this course, the 160 hours of contact teaching and a Learner Workbook must

be completed, also practical assessments and an invigilated exam must be passed. Upon

completion of this course and certification in the L3 Certificate in Emergency Response

Ambulance Driving (CERAD), you will be allocated to an ambulance provider within the UK

to complete your clinical placement hours. Once allocated to a provider in the UK your

Clinical Placement hours and accommodation will be paid.

Student must provide Hart EMS with their EMT Qualification issued by PHECC and a copy of a

current PHECC EMT license to participate on this course.
