During the course, students will learn both Phlebotomy and Cannulation skills. These two clinical skills are the most commonly performed invasive procedures in hospital and in the pre-hospital settings for either testing of blood samples or the delivery of life saving medications.

To perform these procedures well and to a safe standard, it requires students to have been trained and to be certified as competent in these skills. 

All skills monitoring and assessments are carried out during the classroom sessions. This will certify successful students in the academic and practical understanding of venipuncture and IV.
